I don't think Chelsea will want to loan him out again, maybe we'll HAVE to spend the cash to get him, although I also think Chelsea might be interested in Tiote being part of the deal, anyways he looks a quality player and potentially can become a great PL striker(talking about 20+ goals a season striker).

 

Only need the Mackems to lose and even if we draw we go above them

 

Yeah Sturridge and Holden would be good signings, both looked good today and have been good all season. **** Crouch and Bendtner its guys like these we need.

 

I'm wondering how much it'll cost to prize him away from them? I'm thinking in excess of 10m given his recent form.

Looks good to me! Albeit we only needed us to win and them to at most draw and we would've gone above. But nevermind.

Don't tell him I said so but I thought Tiote's passing was a bit erratic today. Gave the ball away alot more than usual and sometimes seemed unsure what to do with the ball (admittedly this happened mostly after Raylor's sending off when passing options were reduced). Anybody else brave enough to agree with me?

I'll agree with you. His passing wasn't as good as it has been. Cracking play for the goal. Bad failed pass back to Jose (think it was him?) which eventually led to Bolton's goal.

 

Yeah definitely not one of his better games. But like you said his contribution to the goal and overall workrate and tackling was still first class, so I'm not having a go at the fella. Just thought his passing game not quite up to his usual impeccable standard.

 

Trust me, without Tiote, Nolan wouldn't look half the player he is!

He even said it on a BBC interview when Tiote signed his new deal!

 

I agree and he was still twice the player Nolan was today.

 

Poor defence was the downfall of the match for Newcastle

 

Best had a terrific game, Nolan played really well to be honest he kept finding room and laid off some good balls, we played well all over the park but dithered in defence once too often. Lovenkrands was non effective once again, why oh why wont Pardew give Ranger a start?

 

How was Ranger when he came on? His usual self? And i haven't seen a replay, was his goal offside, just cos i heard it was close...

 

Was very close, inches in it, did well to beat the keeper to.

Hopefully this will give him the confidence and show him he can actually hit the target and he can start banging them in

 

Ranger looked onside to me, but can't do anything about it now.
