Today's results shouldn't have mattered and we should have been in a position to sit back and relax and watch an action packed day of football. Whilst I don't think Liverpool will challenge for top 4 this season, a win today could put them 3 points behind us and with us likely to lose to Spuds and them likely to beat Wigan that gap could be reduced to 0 by Wednesday, last thing we need is their fans piping up. Villa winning today would surely dispel the myth that Liverpool are realistic top 4 contenders this season. Whilst I think all of the above teams winning is likely I am sure at least one result will go our way today. Whilst I believe City are uncatchable, I do not believe United are so QPR winning today would be sweet, but most importantly we need the Arsenal and Spurs to lose or drop points, Liverpool losing would just be a bonus. If United, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool all win today we only have ourselves to blame, but knowing our luck it could well happen. I'm still very disappointed and hurt from that "performance" yesterday. Now if we lose to Spurs and Fulham game is called off (strikes) we could even find ourselves adrift of Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal let alone City and United.
WUM you really think you will finish above us deluded chav no hostory come back when you have 18 5 also remmeber alonso enough said
So as expected United, Liverpool and Spurs have all won and Arsenal are 0-0 at City at HT, you couldn't make this up, disaster weekend for us
The one Positive (other than Arsenal, but I don't count them because City should be beating them) is that Spurs were about as impressive today as we were yesterday, and, on the back of the Stoke match, where they had some bad luck but were also poor for long periods, it's a sign that they're heading into a bad patch
Okay, we have a good pillow over the Scousers and hopefully (touch wood) Arsenal. Now, all that means is that the Spuds game is a must win. Damn.
Heading into a bad patch? We were missing pace today with Lennon going off injured and Bale out. Bale should hopefully be fit for Thursday so it will be fast counter attacking football. Kaboul will also be back from suspension.
There is a difference between not getting top 4 and contending for top 4 Direct. Personally I don't think we will get top 4 this season, but to write anyone in the top 6 off at this stage is just silly. Our performances have been good enough but our lack of goals has cost us so far. I'm pretty sure our fortunes will change and I think we will be within a shout for top 4 by May, still don't think we will get it though.
you got 1 right,District do you think we will win the Europa league as we cant win the Champions league
