The news has again reinforced the fact that SAFC lag behind NUFC in forward thinking

We have engaged a manager (Steve Bruce) until 2014, whereas NUFC have engaged a manager (Alan Pardon) until 2015. What are ES/NQ thinking??

OUR History stinks!!!! sorry mate but your ignorance is spectacular, just check out how many time sunderland and newcastle have won the league championship. you will find that we have won it more times than your lot!. and at the risk of repeating myself could you please tell me, who last won the league title, sunderland or newcastle? who last won the f.a. cup, sunderland or newcastle?. in fact who was the last side to win a domestic trophy, sunderland or newcastle?. could you please reply to this, because every time i ask a newcastle supporter these questions on this board, they always go a.w.o.l. by the way non of the answers contain the letter C.


p.s. do yourself a favour and try learning a bit about the history of other clubs, you may be shocked to find that there are clubs other than newcastle united.

1. I would say 85% are BEllends

Whatever but by history I should have said was recent memory---which for me is 1980 onwards. I know you beat in 1920 by 9 summit but thats in black n white and even my Dads dad cant remember that. However, don't be bitter that whatever you say, you have never had any of the great experiences that we have had in the last 20-30 years.
Not bothered if we won the Fairs cup n you won the FA cup I more bothered about doing well consistently in the top flight thats all. We also have to be happy with our record against our nearest rivals in that period. That is enough for me and probably for most supporters of most clubs. Agree or not ?

You might as well say that over the last four games NUFC have outclassed SAFC in terms of points, and at this rate we would get 0 points a season, something that has never happened in top flight football!

You lot - not us - are the newly-promoted club. You lot - not us - have a rich fat moron as a manager who at this moment is gambling the AC money in a casino of his choice. That said, amazingly you have a great team spirit and are going to stay up easily, and may well finish top half.
