I don't know why, but I have a sneaky feeling it's Thomas Ince of Liverpool. I'm not saying it's true or not, just a gut feeling.
Obviously it looks like Kelvin Etuhu is the pacy winger/striker that's joining us(so long as he doesn't end up on holiday at Strangeways) and as it would seem his contracts been torn up at Man City, he wouldn't use up a loan space. I've also heard that Tom Ince has been training with us this week and may join on loan, that would give an as attacking midfield player, or potentially a left winger. I'd still rather we had someone else in the middle who can win a ball and manage to pass it to one of his own players, we still look very weak there.
I would like to see another Defensive player come in to give us a bit more cover/competition at the back. Dream would be someone who can cover R/L/C, but, I know that won't happen, so, central will have to do!!
Got enough CB cover, need midfielders during this loan window the rest can wait till end of the season. Like Lambretta has stated we do look weak in midfield.
just watched the first 45 mins on tigerplayer.. we played better than we did at Pride Park.. great save by the cardiff keeper when it looked certain Fryatt would score.. all in all some nice moves..
If 2 of them were to be side-lined at the same time, for whatever reason, that would leave us too thin at the back, hence my desire for another defender. Surely you can see my logic?
If we got 2 injuries we'd be short of defensive cover and we'd have to recall Cooper or McShane. We have 0 injuries in midfield and we already look light. We can't sign players willy-nilly, midfield has top be the priority.
