Hasn't hurt Wayne Routledge going on load has it! If it stops him rotting on the bench behind our current midfield 4, Ireland, Ben Arfa and Gosling, it can only be a good thing surely?

I like him (one of few good players in relegation year). But he just never seemed to "fit in" this season, in terms of a starting XI.

I just worry that our squads too small to be loaning out senior players. I suppose Guthrie could improve as he is 23 but we dont have the depth to lose him and Routledge.

Hes alright backup, but I probably wouldnt want to sit and rot on the bench either, good luck to him if he goes, dont think we should be getting rid of anyone really though.

Not sure either. I like him but he has definitely found himself on the fringe here. With players to come back and presumably players Pardew is lining up maybe the manager is stearing him towards a summer exit! If so i think this is a good thing for Guthrie, but I just hope we don't end up missing him (we are short staffed in midfield at the moment). I notice it doesn't say whether this is for the rest of the season or just short term.

Also not to happy about helping out the Florists after their fans won the Most Obnoxious Fans of the Championship Award hands down last year!

Barton injured. Taylor out. Ben Arfa and Ireland still out. Routledge on loan. What the **** you doing Pardew?

Its not official, calm down. I do hope this is true and he shines at Forest in order to find a way back into the first team here. Always rated him but has been really unfortunate this season for one reason or another.

I also don't want him to leave because my username is dedicated to him!

Strong rumours on twitter with the mail and mirror printing it. I hope not but it seems like it. I rate him too, he stuck with us through the championship

Central midfield is an area where we can afford to lose players. We have Barton, Nolan, Tiote, Smith, Ireland, Gosling, Ben Arfa, Vuckic, Inman all able to play in the middle of the park

We have no right wingers though and Guthrie has played there in the past. With Taylor out and Joey dodgy, Guthrie would have been back up.

Real shame. Was one of my favourite players. Good the year we went down so can clearly play at this level, outstanding last season, just not had a fair go this year. Compare Guthrie 08/09 to Nolan that year. Would never have guessed rightly which one would be getting tipped for England.

Plenty of bullshit headline flying around, apparently Man City are looking to sign Gutierrez despite him publically saying he wants to stay!!!!!

Considering the transfer window has been closed for a month now and doesn't open for another 5-6 months, I'd love to know where they get this bullshit from.
Forest may or may not get promoted, so how are they gonna now what players they are going to want to bring in FFS.

I see Newcastle-Mad has been spouting it's usual bollocks as well.

Until I see any of this in a paper with any respectability, I won't belive it (take with a VERY large pinch of salt)

Isn't Guthrie injured with his hamstring? Otherwise he would have played instead of Raylor on Saturday no doubt about that.
    Lazy lazy journalism.

    Barton - Injured
    Gosling - Injured
    Smith - Injured
    Ireland - Injured
    Ben Arfa - Injured
Vuckic - Is he injured? Not heard anything about him in ages.
Inman - Not played for the seniors before.

Looks a bit grim to be honest if we loan Guthrie out. I would presume some of them are on their way back though if Pardew is thinking about loaning Guthrie out.

Reading comments about Bartons thigh strain, it doesn't sound to serious and was dropped from the team as a precaution.

It started yesterday really, Joey (Barton) felt his thigh in the warm up. He turned up today and all seemed well, he’s standing and he’s ok but as soon as he starts kicking the balls in the warm up it didn’t feel right so that was a setback.

    Vuckic is basically back fit.
Bartoon, is his bad? I assumed it was just a strain.
    Ireland is due back soon.
Ben Arfa is pencilled in for Wolves match (beginning of April).
Inman... Contracts up in the summer. If he's good enough to keep around this needs sorted.
    Gosling/Smith, not sure.
