Jealous husband did this because he didn't want his wife to be 'smarter' than him, but I can pretty much bet people will blame Islam.
Suddenly, he blindfolded me and tied my hand. He also taped my mouth saying that he would give me some surprise gifts. But, instead he cut off my fingers.' call me suspicious but i would of thought something dodgey was going on .poor bloke i hope he's got another wife or he will have to live with sh1t blowjobs for the rest of his life.
Well, it's got subordination of women and amputation as punishment so you can see how someone might mistakenly make that link.
It would suit people who have a certain view of things, yes. It's not like we haven't heard about women chopping off their husband's penis because he's been cheating.
i never thought of that ,maybe he should chop off the fingers on her other hand and get a double stump thing going.as long as he has another wife incase it doesnt work out very well
Honestly, why can't these silly little women do what they're told? If they would just be a bit more submissive and less selfish, none of this terrible misunderstanding would have occured. Love & obey...
Not the same. One is because his wife is getting an education and he's a jealous little ****. The other is the woman fed up of being unloved by the **** that married her. Neither is Islam's fault, but since the former was a man from a muslim country doing this to his wife, people will blame Islam while it really has nothing to do with Islam. The culture of Bangladesh is closer to that of India than Pakistan. You can't tell Hindu's and Muslims apart in Bangladesh other than people who know them.
Considering it used to be called East Pakistan, one would have thought that its culture would be closer to Pakistan.
One of the reasons the whole east and west pakistan thing didnt work out was the distance between the two The Bengali population if anything are the true Indians. What I mean is that they basically are closer to the 'dravidian' race (small, darker etc) that are the true inhabitants of India The bengali culture in itself (not the religion) is very close to Indian culture, this includes the diet to a degree, the clothing, the language to a degree and marriage ceremonies etc I would go as far as to say that the whole treatment of women in that neck of the woods (pakistan/india/bangladesh) is more 'Indian culture' than any religion This includes the process of marriage, what has now become the dowry, the different ceremonies etc In fact I would argue that the majority of pakistani 'muslim' marriages in this country have their traditions 90% in India
