  1. Just watched the MOTD highlights of our game and I didn't realise until now just how close we came to scoring so many times.

Ba was outstanding. His strength is just amazing, he's probably even stronger than Tiote is IMO. He shields the ball so well and his body strength is amazing. Also his improvisation, reflexes and ability to strike the ball are also outstanding.

On another day he'd have scored a hat trick.

We're so going to miss him in the ACN. Lets hope since he's on a not so great team - Senegal - That it's a short campaign and he doesn't pick up an injury and continues where he left off when he comes back.

He's miles better than Carroll and such a good "buy" <diva> Carroll £35 mil Ba £0 <rofl>

  2. Can't believe our game was on last though, it was a much better game than most today and deserves longer than 1 minute of analysis.

We'll play much worse than that and win games this season. Swansea set up well and got a bit of luck. If we play the same v West Brom I'm confident.

Nice to get a clean sheet for the first time in a while.

If that. He literally said, we had lots of chances, probably should have won.

It amazes me how good Ba is at just creating that little bit of room to get a shot away, and how often his shots are accurate. Even with limited space and no clear cut chances he looked like he could've scored a hat trick comfortably and that's why i'm hoping he'll stay with us for a hell of a long time! Hopefully we'll get someone who doesn't play for an African nation in by January 1st as it's evident Best is more of a provider recently.

It was the only 0-0, deserved to be last in that respect.

If we'd won 2-1, and another team had an 'exciting 0-0', I'd still be pissed if they got on before us.

You were at the game and you didn't realise until you saw it on TV how many times we came close to scoring? <doh>

No wonder so many of your threads are rubbish.

  10. Why do you have to be such a **** to me mate? No one else has to do this except you.

I never said I never knew that we were close to scoring, I said I never knew until I saw the highlights HOW close we were, not that we were close at all, which is understandable as a lot of the chances were at the opposite end of the pitch.

I didn't see that Coloccini's header hit the post as it's impossible to see when you're in the gallowgate end theres a group of players blocking your line of sight.

You can't truly see it until you see it at every angle, so don't be a ****er. After the match, I couldn't believe we lost really, but I'm in even more shock now after seeing it on TV at other angles.

I couldn't be bothered to watch MOTD last night to be honest, the severe editing of the programme to suit the script of the commentators is just too annoying. I have recorded it and will watch it later, annoying the family with my own commentary and much more accurate version of events.
Match Choice on Skysports is usually better, it's the full game, no editing, and you can select which Premiership game to watch.

Give the lad a break man .. Im sure everyone knows what he means .. When your at a match, in the moment, you sometimes dont see the event unfold fully .. The speed at which colo's header hit the post, its easy that someone will of missed that and maybe thought it was a save .. obvioulsly everything is a lot clearer when you see it slowed down on replays a few times.

I'm going to complain to Alan Hansen how dare they put us on last.

We should have won the game yesterday but we did eveything than put the ball in the net.

Swansea's goalkeeper Vorm is fantastic and having him gives their defence confidence.

Lee Mason the ref was very lenient and should have booked some of their players but only Cabaye got booked, which did look a booking.

We have a hard game on Wednesday against Blackburn so their confidence will be high. I would like a win a great Christmas present.

I also thought Sian Massey did well on the line apart from Cabaye shot were Vorm did get his fingertips on the ball and we should have had a corner.

Vorm didn't touch it. The referee was right to overrule her.
