I know we are only half way through the season, but please can we forget about promotion this season.

I also know there are plenty of points still to play for, but for crying out loud we are shocking at the moment.

The players have to now stand up and be counted. We haven't had back to back wins since February FFS!!!!!! We have Ipswich and Portsmouth up next, both at home, 6 points is a must.

We need to spend big on a striker in January and we need to get Tunchev back in defence.

For me, Wellens, King and Gallagher are playing way below of what is expected of them.

I do think Nigel is the man to turn things around, but it won't be this season:(

My question is why? Why are Leicester so inconsistent? Why are they not in the top 3 or 4 places after all the money that has been spent on decent players?

    What basically is the problem?

the problem is half the money if not more was wasted on cack. i would love to know how much johnson, pantsil, ball, danns, abe are on for sitting on their arse every week. we still have 5 or 6 guys from 2 years ago who aint good enough, so have half a team to show for 10-15m quid investment. its a bad joke at the minute, and we need to properly sign some quality before we sink even lower down the table.

on a lighter note well done norwich so far this season hope we can emulate you in a few years. shame those rumours about us signing grant holt in the summer wernt true, would love him here, great goal today.

Thanks for the sensible response and not assuming I was Wumming <ok>
I just don't get it..the likes of Neil Danns have done son well in previous seasons and a goal scoring midfielder is well worth having. Foxes have perhaps got the best team on paper in the Championship but for the life of them cannot play on grass!!

Sorry you can't get Holty, he is a gem and so many people said he was not good enough to play in the PL - he is a total star once again! We are not playing particularly well away from home this season but the grit and determination is there to see and will hopefully be enough to keep us up. Must admit, it's looking good at this point in time <ok>

    Come on Foxes, heads up

Problem is we have a very good bunch of players thats it.

    Very good player, **** team

There is no system that they fit into and Sven didnt think it was a good idea to sign a winger

We should of signed Wayne Routledge when we had the chance

I still think 3-5-2 is the way to go.

    Team for Boxing Day:

    Schmeichel

    Bamba
    Mills
    Tunchev

    Peltier
    Fernandes
    Danns
    Abe
    Konchesky

    Beckford
    Nugent

I think Beckford and Mills maybe fit into this category, and I'd say average as opposed to cack, but I think the real problem has been that many of our established players, like Wellens & King, have been very disappointing. Also, as others have stated, we have no width (except for Dyer, whose end produce always disappoints). I don't know if Sven conscientious chose not to sign wingers, in fact, I believe Sven was surprised how many knock-backs we took in the summer. It seemed in many ways that Sven signed every quality players that was willing to come, as opposed to what we needed, hence the glut of central midfielders. Now we've got Pearson, working with players he didn't sign and probably doesn't want, and are expecting him to produce miracles. After Jan, we may be back in contention, but until then, we're just killing time.

    Emulate Norwich?

    Have a word son.

Norwich have a good manager who has more than a one dimensional game plan.
Fact is Pearson may get you to the PL( doubt it) but if he ever did he'd be so far out of his depth it would be scary.

He'll be gone by summer, mark my words, oh and have a nice Christmas.

From what I saw today Leicester are not a team they are a bunch of individuals trying to make a name for themselves. They have spent a lot of money for players who want to be stars of the team. Can there be 11 stars in the team when each one is trying to out do the other. Expect division 1 next season with the motley crew you have atm.

I think you mean Walsh players.

It's fairly obvious that it's Walshy that matters, we look twice as dangerous now someone else is managing Walshy's signings.

Yeah for your lot I'd say, we are still tenth and not in the bottom 3!

Guess only time will tell :p

It will The_Mountain_Fox, wins against Saints and yourself is just adding to our meagre points but we are bettering our selves and almost out of the bottom 3 with your benevolence. I have noticed though that you you are doing yourselves no favours, you have dropped down to 10th now, how much further are you going to drop helping out us teams that are struggling at the bottom of the league. You must tell your club to be careful how far you go with helping us out or you will find yourselves in league 1 again at the end of the season, you are only 9 points above the relegation zone.

Thank you for helping us out and I am sure you will be obliging in helping others in the same way

My point was that whilst we aren't playing that well its a bit daft to assume we'll be looking at relegation! TBF we have not performed well against any bottom sides this season and you know what, if you do pick up then good for you, would sooner see Forest relegated anyway!

We'll perform better once we get a consistant team, most clubs have had players that have played every game and are well up there fitness-wise, this season the only players that have consistantly played are Kasper, Bamba, Konchesky, Mills (even though hes been missing games thru suspension), Wellens, King, Nugent.

Peltier has played a few more since proving himself better than Pantsil.

Dyer/Gally hadn't featured much before Nigels return.
Danns has hardly played in the right position when he is played.
