As a genuine 100% season ticket holder of Leicester City Football Club, on this site I say this: We're a joke. So much for the big time "big one" bollocks in June/July/August? It's backfiring totally. Many on here have built us up and frankly, well, deserve the mighty fall we're enduring. Don't get me wrong, it hurts me, but the ruddy, bloody season build up deserves ridicule. I tried to remain positive, but always disliked the $ $ $ $ $ crap our fans seemed to wallow in. I've seen our last 6/8 performances and we're just not good enough. Playing way too much average football for this league!! For me, the rest of this league right now, has every right to castigate us and totally take the p!$$ out of us.
Fair comments DtF. I said at the start of the season that the 'millionaire club' label would make Leicester a scalp for every team they play this season. I think some of your fans got a bit over-excited by it all, but what they didn't realise is that money can be a double-edged sword. A lot of players experience a drop in form when they have to justify a big price tag and unfortunately Leicester will never know whether their new transfers really want to play for the club or whether they are just mercenaries. To be honest I don't think I would want to be in your position.
NP will sort it out for you. It could be a lot worse. Remember adminsitration? So, you're taking some stick. Big deal. You could be on the brink of great things over the next few years. Just don't tell anyone about it.
I'm not dispirited, just rational, realistic and above all accepting my teams up and downs. I am, however, very aware we (lcfc) fans in the main have got too big for our boots.
Dirkster the Fox, the first Leicester fan that I have seen talk sense. The way you played today was not promotion material, more like preparing for a relegation battle. The players you have all want to be the star of the show, they don't play for each other so are not a team. You have payed out a lot of money for jumped up divas that are never going to do a job for you. I can remember at the beginning of the season how many Leicester fans were talking about walking this league with the talent they had and the amount they had paid for them. When will those idiots learn that individual players won't win anything, it is getting players that can work together as a team that works well. Doncaster Rovers team has cost about £3m but they beat a so called team that cost how many million? The Doncaster players work for each other, not for the glory of themselves. Maybe Leicester fans will learn something from this but I doubt it because the ones I came across earlier were so blinkered they must have come from the bottom of the evolutionary ladder. Good luck Dirkster, you really do need it with the rest of the so called fans you have around you.
Your nieve mate, the idea your players are morally superior to ours cos they get paid a lot less is bull, every single one would be off if offered a better deal, don't cry when sharpe goes for dirty dosh, its going to happen.ALL players are the same ,they look after number one, and to class one or two fans on here as All lcfc fans is brainless..most of our fans were tongue in cheek, baiting wums..we expect nothing..and are never disappionted.
http://thegamesgonecrazy.blogspot.com/2011/12/how-poor-are-leicester.html People are beginning to really laugh at us now. Direct promotion = Having a laugh Playoffs = Possible, but playing like we are with our overpaid bigtime charlie's. Unlikely.
Nigel Pearson- "At the moment, we are soft and it simply has to change. It will change too, no doubt".
