After a very good performance last night Celtic crashed out of Europe last night.
Although Celtic were in a very tough group Celtic finished with one win and three draws.
In many of the games Celtic could consider themselves unlucky and no more so than last night. Of course the Italians created many good chances, their goal came about by an unfortunate mistake by Cha.
Celtic created many really clear cut chances. Sammy put Hooper clean through after 20 mins. Celtic hit the post with a great shot which rebounded off the keeper's head and the goalie just managed because of the spin on the ball to stop it crossing the line.
Near the end Celtic should definitely had a penalty for a clear hand ball.

I am now really believing that Sammy is really becoming a very useful asset. I have praised Sammy in the past, because some of our less enlightened fans called him all kinds of uselessness. Words could not describe how they thought of him.
When he played for Celtic, the so called fans booed him and abused.
In either cas they must feel that they are right twats. Down south the super player Rooney plays well for a month or two every season but the Utd fans don't turn on him. Sammy was so good last night that the Italians well known for their defensive abilities had to readjust to try to keep the ball from Sammy.
The forums and the boo boys have also this season turned on big Dan and Forster.
Dan has built up a good, patch of form and when Neil Lennon, like any good manager talked about a new contract for next season, to help to build Dan's confidence, Lennon was met with a howl of protests. Dan did a great job last night.
Forster despite part of the record breaking clean sheets last season came under awful pressure. Last night the big fellow was massive, rarely have we seen a keeper save as well. I think the search for a keeper is over.
Up front I thought Hooper was brilliant winning the ball and playing ball to team mates. Forrest also impressed and if Celtic can keep up this form the season should end on a high.

    allow me to retort SH

how many times have we seen the sentence "an unfortunate mistake from Cha" - ****ing ****e

Sammi - we all know has the capabilities to have a good game or two. sadly they are few and far between. on thursday he played well in the first half and was anonymous in the second. I hope that palermo or whoever buy him in jan as i am ****ing sick and tired of the ****.

big dan - still ****ing rubbish. if forster hadn't made the double save everyone would be on here slagging him off. i appreciate he has been better of late but he could hardly of got worse. with a fully fit squad he should be no where near the team.

Forster - he is a vampire every time he comes for a cross i think he is going to **** it up, his distribution is piss poor and is unable to command his defence. I thought he was ****e last year and even worse this year. He played well on thursday can't knock him, and i think he is the best of a bad bunch at the moment. we are crying out for an experienced keeper. keeping is about more than shot stopping

When we were at the lowest point of this season i was keen for broony to sign a new contract and get back into the team asap. lets hope he was just rusty as his passing was ****ing abysmal.

I do believe that the performance the other night was pretty decent and lots of positives to take out of it. The team have came along way since they embarrassed themselves in sion, and after that game if you had told me we would get six points from that group including two draws away from home i would have thought you were talking absolute pish.

I am glad it is over and we can concentrate on the spl. hopefully we will get more saturday games now rather than always playing catch up on a sunday

Don't be silly now Pud - I'm sure you'd get a post (or maybe even two) accepted but perhaps we'd get rid of all the buddies who pander to some of the Rangers fans on here!

theshadowknows. I take it you know how many times Cha has made a mistake and will enlightens us soon. I await with bated breathe.
Sammy goes spells when he is less productive than other times. So does Wayne Rooney but Granny loving pro does not suffer as much abuse
as Sammy. The Italians with a world wide reputation for defending, had to chang thir defensive tactics to counteract Sammy. They stopped
    the ball coming to him.
There is no doubt that big Dan is getting his confidence back and hence playing better. Forster a vampire (please explain I see no blood.
His saves in the last couple of matches have been top drawer. I don't know what you thought of him last year because you asterisk it out.
Must have been good, as he a Dan played key roles in setting up new SPL record for clean sheets.
Something against some Broony fellow ( I don't know him) but there is a fellow called Scot (something) must be one hell of a player as the last e Scottish and Celtic managers have always picked him when fit.
I am a glass half full guy, You appear to be a glass half empty guy.
Wise up and either support,ie encourage your team or else forget about them.

Harry it always has and as long as it is played under Scottish Authorities with Scottish referees it will never change.

What annoys me most is that there are so many allegedly Celtic fans who thinks that there is no bias with referees
    and their assistants.
These innocent cretins that swear their allegiance to Celtic believe it is impossible for a "rogue" police officer
or a group of rogue police officers to act in a way which could damage or hinder Celtic or their supporters.
I knoww for a fact that there are people claiming to be Celtic fans mock and sneer at me thinking such thoughts.

Look at the decision going their way since the gap has closed , soft penalties and now ict had perfect goal disallowed according to Stuart Lovell and Ict players are claiming the ball was over the line in one of their chances in 2nd half, not to mention Hearts last min pen against

Only backward people are people that can't see the blatant cheating in our game ,Stuart Lovell mentions clearly onside goal disallowed , ict players claim a goal that was over the line and bbc match report has two possible ict penalties . Now I am not saying all 4 decisions are wrong , but lets see the highlights and see how many honest mistakes have favoured Rangers this week!!!!

Ok harry let's do that. Before hand can you give us a few snippets of your notes from you dossier from today ya dick?

I can imagine Harry the Dicks bedroom plastered with cuttings about rangers with one solitary Celtic lampshade.

    What a dick <laugh>

Obviously if you were a real Rangers fan who was at the game , you would be telling me all decisions didn't happen, or did they happen and your way of deflecting from truth is by calling somebody you don't know a d!ck.
