    Match Preview;
    Our hosts have won 3 in a row, against Charlton, Hull and Derby, and before that they lost 2-4 to Coventry, and before that they drew 1-1 with Oxford. They sit 2nd in the table, with 11 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses from the first 20 games. Their top scorer is Morgan Whittaker, with 7 goals so far this season. Since they were last in the Premier League, in 2017, they've only finished outside the top ten once (17th in 2020), and have been in the playoffs twice, so surely their fans will be hoping they can clinch promotion this year. I must admit, I am impressed that they are where they are this season...I have often blamed our regular managerial changes for our lack of consistency and failure to push for promotion, but Boro's season flies in the face of that argument. They started this season with 7 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses under Rob Edwards, who then left to manage Wolves in the top flight. Their new manager is 37 year old (which makes me feel old) Swede, Kim Alexander Hellberg, who has so far managed 3 and has a 100% record.

    As for us, honest answers below, how many times today have you had a cheeky re-watch of Kieran Morgan's 97th minute screamer from last night? My kids were forced to sit and watch it over breakfast, I had a little re-watch over lunch and I've just watched it again before writing this, just to check...yep, I wasn't imagining it. The match wasn't great, we played well in parts and it was frustrating we weren't home and dry before their equaliser, but then that winner and the celebrations afterwards were what being a football fan is all about. Incredible! Last night did prove, for me, the value of playing two up front, as Kone and Burrell were always there to put pressure on their back line, and I never felt the ball was pumped forward to absolutely no one. Am I right about this, or just lost in being overly positive thanks to the 96th minute winner. Discuss below.

    Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you are making the trip up north on Saturday, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    I’ve only just recovered from last season’s parmo (a must should you ever find yourself that way) so will watch in the pub.

    No, no, no. Parmo is a total no-go. I worked in Boro all through Lockdown, had a few Parmos, each time hoping I was wrong....rank choice of a takeaway
