    We obviously can't do a lot in Jan so its about wheeling and dealing again;
    Akintola out - Kamara in - why not he's better than Akintola and might thrive in this attacking team
    Palmer out - #10 in - as per recent reports
    Amir out - Zambrano in - if we can cancel the loan it will help in a couple of areas. Zambrano can be either a loan or perm then whatever the EFL allow. Need a more natural 6.
    CB in - We would have to do something like the Gyabi deal, massive sell on and young enough to fit under the quota. However it think we might muddle through until summer.
    GK - PL loan to challenge Pander

    According to Baz, 74% of all our goals conceded come down the middle.

    I have no idea what Akintola is earning but moving him on would depend on someone being willing to take over his contract. Kamara could cover his place as a winger and the extra attacking midfielder Serg wants, I actually think Kamara would probably be better off playing centrally in the advanced midfield role anyway. But we probably have no recall nor can we afford to cover his wage this season else he wouldn’t have been moved out.

    I really do not think Zambrano will come here this window.

    A centre half would most likely be an older head not getting games, probably on loan with us covering a portion of wages. Goalkeeper will probably be a similar case unless there’s an up and coming Rushworth type available who’s parent club really just wants their player to get games at a good level.

    How different thing would’ve been if we’d not gone into the embargo and we had signed Lewis O’Brien instead

    Without the embargo we'd have also signed a lot of detritus...

    He’d add some mobility and athleticism on and off the ball but isn’t he just a better version of Slater? In fact, he’s been playing as a number 10 a lot for Wrexham and was utilised the same way by Swansea last season.
