If I remember correctly, in the post to which Hairy refers, I criticised WhoScored ratings on the grounds that they relied too heavily upon countable ball events while claiming to adjust the overall rating to reflect the player's "contribution" in the context of the game. We can all agree that Mattsson's performances in the last couple of games have been "very effective and a big part of our improvement", but it certainly didn't register with WhoScored last night.
