Once again, an Argyle team is better able to win a game away from Home Park with good support from loyal travelling fans.

Make no mistake though, this was an awful game with Wycombe certainly no better than us and very poor referee. A classic away performance.

Owen Oseni made the difference, remorselessly huntingr down a poor back-pass and nicking the ball from a weak goalkeeper challenge. This took him wider than he’d have liked but he still managed to slot home from into an empty net from a narrow angle.

Argyle were content to sit back and absorb what pressure Wycombe could exert, which to be honest was limited to one good chance. Mitchell was outstanding but it was a strong team effort, all 11 at times.

Tremendous team effort - onward and upward.

    Semper fidelis.

Can sum this up in one sentence.

I DIDN'T PREDICT AN ARGYLE LOSS

You people have to live with that treachery. May the football god be your judge.

I didn't listen to any of this and didn't watch any. I even left my computer off until late on in the match and until I switched it on had no idea of the scoreline. I then endured an agonising last 20 minutes including the extra time expecting if honest for us to bottle it. Delighted with the outcome but now want to see us follow it up for once with a home win. I think I'm beginning to believe the scared of playing at home theory.

What a difference a clean sheet can bring.....Owen Oseni should be given the freedom of Plymouth for scoring a goal....so so long since anyone other than Lorent Tolaj has done it.

Shame that Peterborough and Exeter both won as well.....If we had lost this one with there results our position would have looked very dire.

15 teams within nine points of us up to the play off position...we are still 22nd but we just need a good run and anything is still possible.

How much Cleverley was involved in that win I don't know.

Well a Head Coach merely mentors the players professionally and personally, organises training every day, sets the formation and tactics, selects and motivates the team and manages all of the above under pressure during the 90 minutes doesn’t he?

Your comment reminds me of this. It’s not only funny but tells us something fundamental about Moaning Minnies the world over.

Perhaps you could explain to me why Cleverley is always at fault when we lose, to the point of facing demands he be sacked, but not given the credit when we win what looked on paper to be a tough away game?

And it wasn’t a fluke either. We defended well and had a spell of about 10 minutes around the time we scored when we were pinging the ball around at leisure. It was by far the best football of the evening.

I asked the question because this win looked more Adams than Cleverley's style of play.

No moaning on my behalf....just asking the question who is in charge at the moment.....the players guts and effort was commendable plus defensive organization which I never would associate with Cleverley leadership.

It's simple Plym. Derek Adams is the Director of Football, Tom Cleverley is First Team Coach. These are well understood roles in football generally. Adams does the strategic stuff, including leading transfer activity, Cleverley runs the team.

When you say "this win looked", have you actually watched the 90 minutes?

Here are the short highlights, which make Wycombe look better than they were. Please remember we're not in the business of entertaining other team's fans. It's about putting three points in the coach on the trip home.

It's not disputed they had most of the play, although actually, we had 4 shots on target to their 3. That's because we defended well. Only a fool would suggest Derek Adams thinks we should defend well while Tom Cleverley does not. In fact, Cleverley has been bemoaning defensive mistakes for weeks. There weren't many last night.

Both teams committed 13 fouls. How we got 6 yellow cards and they got none I will leave to you to explain.
