The 2nd half was probably the best 45 minutes we've played in the last few seasons but ironically the chances just wouldn't come. Very pleased with the attitude even after giving up such a late equaliser. And we're finally seeing the kind of very good high press that teams usually impose on us. Jimmy Dunne probably MOTM but many others in the mix. Elated.

My voice has totally gone after shouting at the match and over the loud music in the Defectors after.

Deserved win, surprised at how lightweight Brum were. Mbengue was great, Morgan redeemed himself. Kone and Burrell, even when the ball doesn’t go their way, never give defenders peace.

    Huge fun

    What a night!
It's all been said but well done, The Lads.
Loved the energetic pressing in this game.
Morgan possibly at fault for their goal but what a redemption!!
    Fantastic celebrations.
This team has the potential to go places.

Well done lads. Missed the action as today was my Spa day (swam, pedicure, chair yoga and therapeutic massage). Hearts must have sunk when Brum equalized, so glad our super sub clinched the points for us.

Yes. The atmosphere went from buoyant, to deflated and finally to incredible jubilation.

Just home...I thought we played so well. We pressed high...and our front 4 were magnificent for the first 60
minutes in their harrying and pressing. Birmingham may have huffed and puffed but we kept them at arms length...excellent defensive display from the whole team.. the defense interaction and understanding between mbengue and N-Davis and Smyth and Saito was excellent. Kone and Burrell run their socks off

Saitos cross for the goal was exquisite.

The ball didn't quite fall for us up front....but Birmingham didn't deserve their goal and to draw.

So very fitting Morgan scored our winner. Speculative shot yes, hard and accurate through players ...leaving the GK little chance to see it.
    We deserved that.

MbengueMotM...but everyone played well. Even Nardi and his flapping I am going to ignore tonight.

Thank you Rangers..it was fantastic....and I found my car. All good in the hood.
    Good night

    We need a JS song!

His name has the correct number of syllables to be sung repeatedly to the tune of 'Everywhere we go'.

Slight downer Mbengue managed to get himself booked after he was subbed off for coming onto the pitch to celebrate Morgan’s goal. And Morgan for taking his shirt off.

It is a shame about mbengue.

After his 5 in about 8 games and a match suspension...he has changed to RB and he hasn't had a card for ages.

Stoopid card to get he is on 8 now I think

Mbengue is an ‘all-in’ character who wears his crazy heart on his sleeve. Will undoubtedly get him into trouble but all the roguish fans will love him for it (until he gets his inevitable bans). Can’t beat a bit of infectious spirit in the team and we always seem to do well when we have that in abundance.
Getting to be a good bunch of lads this lot aren’t they!

Fairly sure they made it a yellow for removing the shirt as it could be deemed offensive in certain cultures but his little sports bra would have technically negated that. Oh well. Always seemed a weird thing to do after scoring to me. Kiwi leaves his shirt on while scoring.
