I think JS is slowly converting this team. Still a way to go but it’s moving in the right direction (after years of shocking inconsistency). He deserves some credit for sticking at it.
Big up for Varane for reading the situation so well. Most players would of stood there, however he could see what may happen, won the ball and played it back to Morgan
Madson had another great game tonight. I saw more variation in his dead ball delivery in this one match than there has been in the entire season to date. I hope the penny has dropped for JS. And a brilliant assist in what should have been 2-0.
Brilliant ending. That's why we keep doing it. It would have been a travesty if we hadn't taken three points tonight. Totally dominant in the second half until the lapse for their goal. Madsen and Varane both excellent again, but Mbengue MOM
100% agree. When him and Dembele were arguing over who would take that free kick from a great position, and then Dembele sent a crap shot well over, Madsen just looked down at the ground and shook his head. It should have been his free kick all day long. I'd have him take every dead ball, more or less.
Wow what a finish & what a Goal by young Morgan, Atmosphere unbelievable in upper loft, so deserved that, game fits & starts & first half a bit drab until we scored, Urrss
A great win. I was quite impressed by the physical aspect of our game, as well as our drive to get the winner in the final seconds. LR was rocking!
When you look at it again we had 2 players closest to the keeper waiting for any parry and a tap in..... strikers instinct, something we haven't had in years.... There's something magical about a last minute winner under lights with the old girl rocking.....
