I think it's unfair criticism of Baz.

 

Never mind the ineffectual clearance or the failure to close down Grant sooner, not forgetting Baz was probably partially sighted because of the half dozen players stood in front of him... FFS.

 

There were a lot of people in the box, he probably didn’t have clear sight. But his positioning was off

Criticism is fine when it is deserved, not when someone directs blame for no apparent reason. Whats your excuse?

 

Ummm - I haven't seen the goal, but that doesn't make sense, if it is odd he positioned too far to the right, then he has made an error. I did say when we had the big debate about him that everytime I see him play I say 'Why is he standing there?' I used to play in goal so it makes me grit my teeth.

 

I’ll be surprised if archer gets another goal this season.

If he couldn’t see then he’s unlikely to make the save regardless of position. We would need to see a Baz-eye-view to tell.

 

In my opinion I thought Bazunu should be saving that so that's my reason for the criticism. He always seems to be positioned a little bit to the wrong side every time?

And if the ball had gone in at his near post? The angle was quite tight - I don't think his positioning was bad. It was a good finish. Save Baz!
