I get asked a dozen times a day at work, 'Which train goes to Hertfordshire?' They mean the University of Hertfordshire, which is in Hatfield, apparently. I don't know what they're studying, but I'm guessing it isn't English, because none of them seem to speak it. They're very polite though.
Hopefully this will end all the hot air conspiracy bollocks around this ... but not before time admittedly... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckgk2pj2ygko
What hot air conspiracy bollocks? The reason I saw that this group failed initially was because the people who were targeted by grooming gangs, stood down, they claimed the reason they stood down was because the inquiry had been diluted by other sexual crimes (people who hadn't stood down) - that was followed up by a female who had worked in top level policing (now retired I believe) who stated the crimes had to be dealt with seperately, because grooming gangs and other sexual offenders went about in completely different ways in their criminal methods. In short she meant that grooming gangs was serious organised crime, and required an entirely different approach. So am I right to assume Jess has finally stepped down now, like all the grooming gang survivors demanded?
