I thought Amad was poor tbh. Needs to get his head up. Looked very predictable to play against.

He's always giving up chances to other players when he shoud just let fly ...

... way overcoached in my opinion.

Edwards wont be the reason they go down imo. They have been so badly managed off the pitch for the last 2 or 3 seasons, this is the inevitable outcome. I am sure Edwards is there to prepare them for a championship push next season.

Maybe. He cut inside several times and ran into trouble each time. The lad is a talent, but current form a bit flat is all.

It's the thing, though. Confidence. Once it goes you never recover.

In the 19 point season we had a lot of decent players. Sorensen, SKP, Thome, Reyna, Gray, Bjorklund, McAteer and others, all decent players. On paper we shouldn't have gone down, there was enough quality to keep us up even if we were going to struggle. But after the midway point we just collapsed and never looked like picking up anything. Once the confidence went we just got worse. The 15 point season was similar, at the start of the season we put in some decent enough performances, even if we were getting beat. But the longer it went on the performances start to slip and got progressively worse until we barely looked like ever picking up a point. My guess is Wolves are in that boat now. Earlier in the season they could have some confidence on getting a point or a win so put out some half decent performances. But as it's gone on they now expect to get beat no matter what they do, so they're gradually getting worse and worse.

I agree, I also think that he is being asked to do a job that he isn't totally suited too.
Whilst great teams work hard for each other and have discipline it is those moments of individual brilliance, usually from flair players, that can change a game and at the moment Amad just looks like he is doing the same thing time and again, there must be a reason for that.
Or perhaps Amsd just had a purple patch when he played for us and will never hit those heights again.
Perhaps he needs to come back to us so that we can clarify the position :emoticon-0100-smile

Aye he needs to come home and be allowed to do his thing.

Imagine the balance and extra attacking options he’d bring to the current squad man, be immense.

Sad that it’s a no hoper.

Very astute comments mate , Wolves also have some very decent players, but no direction , or luck. I have a lot of sympathy with their supporters, who were great by the way, having gone through similar ordeals, they look certs for the drop , and its not even Xmas.
