We will be 15 points clear of the bottom three.

I think a few people have lost sight that our first target this season is still to be well away from the relegation battle. And we are succeeding in that.

A few months in the lofty heights of the top four were brilliant, but we all realise that a top ten finish still represents a good season, and avoiding the bottom three is still our main aim. It's only our second season back, and outside the first XI we don't have the strongest of squads.

Stoke are now 3 points behind but yeah 8 points off 8th is good. Still annoyed though, now I know how Liverpool fans feel.

It's a bitter pill to swallow considering the start we made though. Yeah it's been good and I don't want us to get ideas above our station, but after the start we've had, I'll admit I'd be a little disappointed if we only marginally improved on last season.

Doesn't excuse why Ben Arfa didn't come on, or how we didn't take our chances. I'm happy with where we are, but when we dominate a game like that, we should really be winning and finish the game off.

    Relegation?

Nonsense - we're title challengers and the sooner you all wake-up to the fact, the better.

I see what you're saying but can't help but disagree.
We shouldn't still be in the mentality of being grateful that we're not close to relegation, we made it clear last season that we're not the team we were in 2008/09 and we have only improved since last season.
Considering the start we've had, although I'm in no way suggesting we should be anywhere in the top 6, we should have ambition for a finish of about 7th or 8th. A team like Villa (who would be aiming for a similar position) won't have relegation on their minds and we've certainly outplayed them this season, and to be honest if we finish anywhere out of the top 10 we will have done a disservice to ourselves.
