How many points pissed away? Got to be more than 6 which could have us third and actually in a title race.

 

Villa, Leeds, Bournemouth and Spurs. Games we could have won.

That extra 8 points and we'd be up there.

We'll go on a run now but it's frustrating.

Btw - not sure why everyone is fearing the mackems. They've got 1 win in 6.

4 points separating 4th-12th is crazy at this point.

 

Yeah and we are getting back to a full strength squad just as other teams will be losing players to AFCON. The next 2 months will be huge for the club across a few different competitions.

This is true. We are on the cusp of breaking into the real elite. We are basically just missing out on the top 3 because of a couple of last minute goals.

We should and I think we will buy a player or two to help. But we should be good for top 6 again this season.

I think that would be a good return. The PL is wide open this year.

This is a great point and has got me thinking.

Villa and Spurs we were the better team and those 4 points should be ours. Liverpool, Arsenal both games where we should have got something from.

We didn't deserve to win away to Bournemouth (and a draw is a decent result there anyway) and Leeds felt like we could still be playing today and we'd not have scored.

 

Given the teams available, and eddies record against our opponents, that FA Cup draw was awful.
