    The whole Salah thing may have given Slot more time. If he hadn't said anything Slot may have been sacked but there is no way the club was going to let a player be bigger then the club. Lose tomorrow (which I am expecting) and we are in danger of not even getting to playoff round. There are rumours if Real lose to City Wednesday Alonso could be in trouble.

    Yes that's the point.

    Klopp came in when we were doubters and turned us into believers. Slot came in when we were believers and has taken us full circle i.e. back to the beginning, back to doubters.
