Gordon tore him apart in the last game. Hume would be on the bench for me with Mukiele at RB.

Maybe start Hume as a wing back , I would like to see us keeping it tight early on with two runners up front ahead of Le Fee . Then unleashing the Brobbey for Hume later. Nothing like a late winner at any time of day, and if its us, it could be a Wembley re-run . Am I dreaming?. <laugh>

Need 3 in midfield against their 3 imo. They'll only play 1 up top too so no need for 3 centre backs.

Midfield battle will be the key. Win that and get our pace against their backline, and we could win.

Absolutely. If we go 5 at the back we might as well give them the 3 points now.

Absolutely, we need to go 433. For me that means Hume missies out as I’d have Mukiele at right back.
I know he hasn’t played much but I’d like Adingra at left wing. Just feel he could add a lot and I prefer Talbots off the bench.

I agree about Mukiele he needs to start.

Not so sure on Adingra, but it's a chance for someone to make a name for themselves and why not him. I fancy Mundle to play a big part either starting or off the bench. Gives us a goal threat from wide.

I’d like Mundle to get some game time before we play Leeds.. call me pessimistic but I’m nervous for that game because of the players we’ll be missing. It’s a must win for me and they’ll have a full squad while we’ll be missing a few good players.

Have him firing fit so ELF can stay in the middle would be a massive bonus. I’d be tempted to play Xhaka, Geertruida and ELF in the middle but I’ve a feeling it’ll be a back 5 for those games with Hume at LB then Xhaka ELF and Rigg in the middle then Brobbey and Isidor up top because we’re going to have no option on the right.

Great thread as usual @RTB, you've certainly done your homework for this one.
Had a good chuckle at your write up.
    <applause><applause><applause>

Im confident for this one, and would like nowt better than to turn these over.
I feel our players will play the game, RLB and Xhaka will make sure of that, but I can see a few of theirs (Gordon, burn, Bruno gimparse, jerlinton for example) playing the occasion and losing their heads (no pun intended :emoticon-0127-lipss).

    3-1 to the lads.

Ha'Way me Bonny Lads, do us proud, again.

Best write up yet RTB and there have been some gems.

What Smug said regarding "established PL team, in the CL etc" They should beat us, and although a point would keep us above them I want the bragging rights with a win. I dont want Sky n the w*nker on MotD having a love in with this lot.
I honestly think the hatred we will create with the noise will get to a couple of them and hopefully we can take advantage of this.

Agree with all of that. Hope we sing plenty about how much we love the club and what we are all about, as well as getting stuck into the mags. KLD and his merry band have created the club that we have dreamed of.

Hume was left exposed in that position, I don't think that would happen again tbh.

From memory he was left stranded by Neil and Ekwah who's idea of tracking back was watching from the halfway line.

Hume has improved a lot since then.
