Don’t know mate, if it is it’s a bit of a risk they’re taking by giving him the job.

 

I don't think this is nailed on Barton getting the job, like we thought it was...

 

I thought that it had been delayed by Covid, and so that he could keep his (previous) job till the end of this season.

I can see no obvious reason for the charges being dropped unless the victim has suddenly changed his original statement.
IF that had happened I would have expected it to be in the Press.

I gather that he hasn't been given the job yet.
It would take a brave Board to do that, so I'll believe it AFTER it's been formally confirmed by the club.
