Saw a bit of the final earlier, unusual seeing Selby falter when he was breezing through, playing great snooker and then started nearly missing colours off the spot in what should have been a routine clearance. Think he's missed the black off the spot a few times. You just don't usually see top players tripping themselves up when they're playing great and racking the frames up.
From what Selby was saying sounds like he's been struggling with his commitment to the game in general, I know he's had issues with his mental health but I didn't know he was thinking about quitting. Explains why he wasn't the steady performer I remember. Anyway, well done to him very tough match and fully deserved the win.
