Did anyone else's (admittedly Welsh) grandparents ever call them "looking like you've been sucking a sow" when they were dirty and grubby? Had to ask... In Garthmyl it's trying..
sorry any snow, white stuff in shropshire apart from on the hills. just hope town are over their winter blues. spring is on the way. floreat salopia. suprised a cereal company has not marketed grope nuts!!

messrs sue grabbit and runn, legal advisors to atcham jack wish it to be known that their client has not abdicated his pre match threads. they have been asked to state that aj's desire was to have a local thread written by someone who is a a local and regular attendee at shrews matches. in the meantime their client wishes one and all a happy christmas, a prosperous new year and promo at last for uncles roland and graham. sue grabbit and runn sollicitors grope lane shrewsbury solicitors and administration! branches in bristol and high wycombe.
A cold day, remember to wrap up warm and take some change for a cuppa! Shrewsbury 2 v 1 Macclesfield Collins, Wallace Att: 5950
Ah, well, if you do an internet search you will see two spellings for it. Supposedly it is originally Flemish in origin anyway
right enough of welsh sayings, bradford and barnet have set up a great chance for shrews to tighten things at the top, bradford yes bradford take 3 points of southend and barnet take 2 of cheltenham. so no more welsh sayings!. amythig am byth, floreat salopia, come on you shrews breath on em. change of score forcast. shrews 3 maccs 0 4108 wright wroe collins. we need to take advantage of our big opportunity. perhaps the gas will beat gills to aid us
today we need daggers to take 2 or 3 points off brewers away, crewe to beet the creepies at home,, the gas to win at gills and swindon and morecambe to draw. then the shrews are motoring, floreat salopia
45 mins gone, 68% of the play, why did i change my original prediction of 0-0. nice to see the youngsters given a go, perhaps one of them may score!
great result. another win, we march on! sounds like macc came for the nil nil, and i think last season we wouldntv known how to counteract, but this season we do!!
a win is a win, sounds as though it should have been 6-0. our worry now is the 6 teams below us, headed by swindon. all are capable of catching us and after bradfords 1-0 win at southend i suspect our last 2 games of the year will be particularly testing, gas did us no favours at gills, they lost 4-1 and in my view are heading south in a very big way. whay i would like to know is were maccs outclassed or were our lads firing blanks or both
How many more times? We played reasonable football for 75 minutes and should have buried Macclesfield. For the other 15 we played like complete strangers and if it hadn't been for a brilliant clearance by Hurst we would have surrendered 2 points. Changes. Taylor puts more aggression in his wing play but his delivery is nowhere near as good as Ainsworth's. Both Bradshaw and Collins worked hard and the latter should have scored instead of hitting the post. Bradshaw showed his battling abilities but never looked like scoring.
