Just as easily have bacon and eggs on a Saturday over a bacon butty. I genuinely don't eat a load of bread. Partial to pasta here and there and rice, but I still wouldn't say it's carb heavy. Not exactly paleo either though.
Keto is effective but needs an insane amount of willpower to stick to. Great if you need to drop a size to fit into a suit for a wedding a couple of weeks away but long term it’s just about being in a small calorie deficit pretty much every day which for most people means some carbs.
nah it’s a piece of piss, just follow this guy https://youtube.com/shorts/OQ-5LJ8Qz6s?si=2cM89q2fdObgDyOT
His best videos are him walking round Tesco like he’s the size of Chris Bumstead pointing out random foods making the kill sign on them then going home and eating 12 hard boiled eggs
I do that a few days here and there when I don’t have kids with me and stick it out 6 eggs around 2pm then 6 around 8pm for a few days When kids are about I actually enjoy feasting with them i think being too strict would affect my good times life with the kids just had some chicken n chips n chicken kebabs tonight with young un got to be done
Show off ... I've walked from the car to the Indian take away ... currently supping a bottle of Cobra whilst waiting
Nearly got a 160kg bench in this morning. 150 moving easily now so get 160 in once the Christmas calories give a little boost then hit the diet hard in Jan/Feb.
Is that a one rep job? I've been ticking over on the compounds twice a week, sometimes manage to fit three in. Given up on losing body fat, Christmas season has fully kicked in anf it's a losing battle at my age. Will try harder at that in Janaury. Main aim them is also ski fit, but I do dead lifts and squats often anyway and it's that I need.
Yeah. Took a while to get a one rep max above 140 but then went from 145 to 150 quite quickly and max I’ve done since is 155. Fancied the 160 today but not quite. One rep maxes are pointless in terms of growing muscle but just a useful gauge of strength. Getting the full sets in at 120 now which is fine but kind of meh when I’m about 104 after a heavy Saturday night.
