Mexico has hosted 3 times since England had one. Not sure the appeal of playing them there. This one is shared but still.
Heard on a podcast that every team that played in Manaus in the Brazil World Cup lost their next game. Games are more spaced out this time in the groups at least but playing in the hottest cities in the afternoon without air con will play a role for sure. Brazil in Miami for Scotland- good luck.
I went once in June, never again, didn't realise how much it pissed down in that month. That with temps well over 30c.
I'd have liked to have gone to Cuba, never did get round to doing it. Doubt I'll ever do it now, as I got older hated the long hauls, especially in cattle class.
Wasn't there some 5 nation bid from SE Asia for one coming up soon? Because 3 co hosts isn't enough of course.
Didn’t know about that. Four South American countries did a joint bid for the utter nonsense that will be the next one. At least Spain, Portugal and most of Morocco is fairly close together.
I couldn't have even told you Euro 2028 was being played in this country. Finger on the pulse of current affairs me. That does sound familiar in fairness.
Salah says he has been 'thrown under the bus' by Liverpool "I think it is very clear that somebody wants me to take all the blame. "I've said a few times before that I have a good relationship with the manager and now all of a sudden we have no relationship. I don't know why. "It seems like the club are throwing me under the bus – that's how I feel. "This club, I will always support it. My kids will always support it. I love the club so much and I always will. "It [the situation] is not acceptable to me, to be fair. I don't get it. It's like I'm being thrown more under the bus. I don't think I'm the problem. I have done so much for this club. I don't have to fight every day for my position because I earn it. I earned my position." Well it's one way to respond to being dropped to the bench for a couple of games. Seems an over-reaction to me.
sounds like typical drama from them lot wish these players would stfu and get on with it Saudi league in January for him
I'll be honest, although I despise it whenever any player does this for any club it does remind me of some of the comments of Liverpool fans when Isak dropped his "let down by the club" comments only a few months back and they immediately started posting images of him being freed from slavery by Liverpool. I'm sure they'll see the funny side of delicious karma too.
I thought after the Mane thing with Klopp, that Salah is a touch sensitive - I think it even more now. I think though it makes no sense the way Slot is treating him, it seems Slot wants different things but I'm not sure what he exactly wants when Isak is on the bench as well. I know Pep does it with Foden and others, but I've never felt this was the Liverpool way of doing things and maybe that's how Mo sees it. Strange times. Personally I'd tell Slot to **** off and look for another club.
