    Bits were awful.
    Ref was awful
    WBA are not very good.
    Their keeper was pretty bad

    Burrell was amazing.
Kone dies so much ...I wish he would score
Not sure quite how Madsen does it...but he is pretty good too.

I am not sure if I enjoyed it...but am very happy now

Enjoyed that second half. Kone worked his socks off. As was said on the stream when he does score again he will get more but him putting it about (and in) created both goals in the second half for a natural goal scorer (Burrell) who knows where he should be playing. Don't think we've had a a finisher like that in a long while. West Brom continued to be poor throughout the game and rarely looked like scoring although Nardi did have to make a couple of good saves.

Had good spells & awful spells, passing was very poor at times, Kone had a better game & Burrell amazes me & good signing, don’t know how he missed that chance! Perhaps he there was a foul, hope the person in stands who was taken ill is ok, got my prediction spot on

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Burrell’s goal record is far better when Kone is on the pitch than not. The team’s too probably even if he hasn’t scored for ten games or whatever it is. The Abidjan Emile Heskey you could say but possibly won’t.

A win's a win of course but it couldn't get much less convincing.
There's no point in playing Saito through the centre and it felt like we were playing with 10 for much of the game.
Another good performance by Madsen went some way to plug the vacuum in midfield particularly when we lost Chair.
Nardi proved again that he is a top shot stopper but in the era of the long throw is always likely to give up goals.
I don't think Championship defences quite know what to do with Burrell which is very good for us.
Reese Norrington very good - how do we keep him?

I was about to write that a big positive today was that Nardi came out and did well for the crosses into the box.
Saito played on the right wing (?)
Totally agree about RND, he was excellent. We really need to buy him.

Thought Kone had a good game, particularly second half. He made the last goal. Shame he is so shot shy, we were all shouting at him to shoot but he seems to have lost his confidence in front of goal. Does it matter? Not if Burrell is playing with him. Little and large. Great double act today. Who is going to replace Chair on Tuesday?

How long before other teams notice Burrell?

Joint second highest goal tarry in the league.

Up until his goal I thought Varane had played really poorly but what a great header, and from a superb Madsen cross. Some great individual performances today, and a welcome reaction to the crap at Norwich last Saturday

West Brom will be marooned in the Championship forever given that performance

    Saito was on the right
He is much better in the middle or left
Smyth was on the left. He is so much better on the right than left

I seem to be alone in thinking the first half was good
Both teams quite slick confident and tidy albeit rarely in the final third
Our 2 cbs were very solid winning every battle

I don’t know why we seem to start every second half so badly
    Our passing went to bits

Nardi came off his line quite well when required

I thought they were ok first half and terrible second half
Their keeper was worse than anything we can produce

It was all good fun again at home
Bring on Tuesday and don’t change too many in the lineup

Might be Poku time with only Chair performing well out wide today
Probably Saito on the left and let Smyth replace Poku second half

Am I alone in thinking Varane played well.
He is very quick over a few yards, tidies loads and fed our left wing well first half which is where all our success was.
I think he is the classic Sam (his work goes unnoticed) Field replacement

The first half an hour or so was lacking any quality of any kind and was excruciating to watch. Glad we could put the game to bed. Burrell has that habit of being in the right place. My player of the season to date and not just for his scoring.

I thought he was all over the place (and not in a good way) first half - slow to challenge and frequently misplacing his passes. Seemed to wake up after his goal though

One other thing I thought the Ref was abysmal today & gave us nothing & thought we should’ve had a pen

Fortunately the linesman on the SAR side had been paid off and gave us everything :1980_boogie_down:

Very strange disturbance in the away end with a group of kids getting into a heated argument with some older guys, being escorted out by stewards, let back in and then thrown out again for picking up where they left off:emoticon-0136-giggl

I oddly enjoyed the first half, some nice moves even though there were no shots on target up to the goal.

West Brom were the worst I've ever seen them, I was really surprised about how bad they were and I don't think we can take much credit for that.
Spurs mates always felt Ryan Mason was an issue in their coaching department and laughed when his name was linked to us.

I find it interesting that Varane has become a topic. For a few games I've felt he's been below par, often looking backwards when a forward pass is available.
He took the goal well though, without that I'd have been pushing for Hayden on Tuesday.

Good to see the front two working together, we've been screaming for this for years.
Kone might not be scoring but two assists and a lot of problems for the defense more than justifies his position.

My only negative is that we're back at 2 points off the play-offs...you all know what that means for Tuesday!!!

Stop Press....we won with Gavin Ward in charge, despite his best efforts to prevent that.

First half pretty dire, the highlight of which was Madsen winning a tackle in the middle of.the park.

Beautifully flighted cross from Madsen for the goal and well taken by Super John Varane.

Second half was so much better. Credit to Nardi for a superb double save that looked a certain goal for Albion.

Albion were excellent at passing the ball to eachother but not much else.

I would have loved Kone, who worked his socks off as well as setting up the third, to score but one cant be too greedy.

Lovely to see the energy of both fans and players at the end.

We need a song for JS. Is there one?
