I said before he was appointed, Slot wasn't a long term the man for us. Things dropped well for him last season, in that the team was set for another year, but knew he wouldn't be able to bring about the changes that were needed.

Doesn't have the personality to be strong in the face of the likes of Hughes, who clearly bought this new team.
