It happens every time it rains and will continue to do so until we can split rainwater from domestic wastewater - £85Billion taken out in dividends by water companies but ''we'' need to pay higher water bills to pay for future investment. Some say you couldn't make it up - but we could, easily!

It’s obvious it’s disgusting now…no need to wait to mull it over.

Privatising essentials like water is madness

And it's something that actually has broad public support across the political spectrum.

Iron Lillies in Prinny Quay has reopened with a new cheaper menu, though it looks like they've got a job on their hands changing opinions on the place. On the Facebook post about the reopening, there's nothing but abuse about how **** it was.

If I remember right most of the complaints regarding the previous incarnation were about the poor service and not so much the prices.

Yea TC, it's the dry dock in the photo but it needs the entrance dredging to get her in.

You would have thought that they would have the permission to dredge before they built the dry dock bit. It will be a right pisser if those responsible say no.

Apparently the silt is full of toxicity, so discussions have been taking place with the relevant authorities before permission was applied for.
