Much better so far. We’re actually getting runners into the channels a bit earlier rather than slowly moving the ball out wide and down a dead end, or just pinging vertical balls into Kudus and praying. Still a bit passive in how we move the ball sometimes for my taste but the runs the players are making are much more aggressive which is good and long overdue. Quite liking RKM when he pulls off the left. So quick and he’s big too, forces defenders to pay attention.
Their RB all over Kudus’s shirt there before the Romero foul. Surprised we didn’t get another free kick. Romero may have put himself in trouble here.
It's really a problem that PL refs allow fouls on teams whose managers say nothing While there are absolutely arguments that Frank needs to put some refs on blast for the bullshit decisions, the greater issue is refs are conditioned to respond to managers who call them out - or, worse, managers who create elaborate conspiracies about refs being against them
Nice to see do many players hustling for the ball when they don't have it and running into space when their teammates do Far removed from some of the static displays we've seen in the last couple of months
That was a much better half of football, well taken goals and finally some intense forward pressure. Makes the lonf trip down way better!! Well pleased for Simons, he needed that and I liked the way he fought back after a poor touch to lose the ball before going on that run. Now then, what happens in the 2nd half....?
