    Root is a proper test batsman, but that type of player is going out of the game. Theres so many incentives for the players in one day cricket these days, they are all more concentrated to that form of the game now.

    It used to be that good test players could turn their hand to playing one day cricket, but its flipped now and the majority of these players are one day players trying to turn their hand to test cricket, and mostly failing at it
