Lol, still sounds bizarre to say City "saw out" a 5-1 lead vs Fulham. Yeah they got the win, but pretty embarrassing for it to end like that.

My main issue is the huge number of shots we had compared to them, we have to be converting more of a figure like that and not just having a slender one goal lead at the end. Also stay alert FFS, it might be 5 minutes into time and we're ahead, but don't just watch the ball roll into the net off Romero's shin. At that time it's fine to see the game out and not leave ourselves exposed, but we switched off there.

Tonali was taken off at half time injured after a spuds played raked the back of his heel
one of the ref's many 'I didn't see it' decisions last night

How was Burn responsible for their goal ??
it was Hall that stood off and watched the player do the over head kick
then their was 3 others on the line who could have cleared it
to single out 1 player is a joke

Burn played well on the whole. Likewise bringing Schar on at the end was completely the right decision, as we were looking to see the game out.

No worries, retract the comment on Tonali sub, and I should have added that Thiaw and Schar were both stuck in the mud unable to react. I just felt that if Burn had more mobility he was best placed of the three to deflect the ball away, and I felt he was too easily out manoeuvred for the first goal.

Just a bit of a deflating defeat. Burn was solid most of the game, just trying to rationalise a defeat that shouldn’t have happened.

That said, our right wing is a bit of a disaster at the moment. I honestly think we’d be better off trying a 5-3-2. I think all of Barnes, Wissa and Gordon could play off Nick, and Tino then has Murphy as an able deputy on the right. Leaves us maybe short at left wing back (Tino can cover but maybe Ramsey can do it?) but for me it’s the best way to get the right players on the pitch.

You do realise it wasn't a defeat?

You don't need to rationalise a defeat that shouldn't have happened because the game was a draw.

English language escapes me today. In my head it was “felt like a defeat”.

It'll all be fine come May.. Stay within 6 points of top 6 and we'll do better in the second half of the season.

I hope they get absolutely smashed.

But I also hate Liverpool. So I’m torn.

Maybe what would be good is Isak gets a horrible injury. But Liverpool smash them. That would possibly be acceptable.
