The last true football derby in East Yorks ended when Bridlington Trinity (green and white shower) folded leaving only the bigger club Bridlington Town.

I remember Melton Sporting Club in the 80's, it was where Ehab's factory is now, best club out in the villages was Tree's at Ferriby.

I used to go there in the late 70’s, early 80’s.

 

Baz quotes Sergei as saying McBurnie and Millar both might be available for Friday, but in Sergei's interview with Mike White he seems to rule out McBurnie for this one.

I do find the HDM editorial around returning absentees a bit tiresome when it's gushing excitement about a player maybe being available for the bench even though a week prior they were reportedly almost certain to be on it.

Melton sporting were an ‘orrible bunch , played them and it got very feisty , they didn’t like losing at all .
