Toby loves Stewart Lee because he's a sneering faux intellectual that says gammon in his routine & calls everyone that didn't vote remain thick white uneducated plebs. I like Stewart Lee because his social commentary is often layered & the butt of the joke is the character he's playing an Islington sneering faux intellectual that hates gammons. There's a level of nuance he doesn't understand, like making the audience uncomfortable by not telling a joke for 20 plus minutes , with the repetition not resulting in a punchline until much further.
I posted it before but his routine about Scotland , being part scotch and William Wallace … to a scotch audience is class .
