Hoping this is a low point and the team picks up from here.

Badly need Kulu back, he’s gonna be under pressure to perform immediately though

Solanke isn't of the same caliber, but his return is just as important imo.

I'm intrigued to see him link up with RKM.

Will both play at the same time though?

Solanke’s all round play is decent but he doesn’t score enough goals for my liking.

Looked to me like an old ref bullying a less experienced ref into giving a decision he wasn't convinced about.

I’m really struggling to see what difference Solanke is gonna make when he returns. Seen more from Muani in half a dozen games than Solanke. Genuinely hope I’m wrong, but “working hard” isn’t enough.

I get what you mean but I get the feeling RKM will flourish buzzing around a target man. We've only got one game (PSG) to go on, but him alongside Pigeon up front was quite impressive and they linked up really well despite hardly playing together. Solanke is a clear step up as a 9, and I think he'll bring even more out of the Frenchman.

I think with Solanke we have a better chance of holding the ball up in the attacking 3rd which allows others the time to get into better positions for the attacking move if they use their brains . I wouldn’t want him before Kolo because Kolo to me is the only natural striker we have.

not sure how both get in but I think Solanke is a useful skill set to have in our team. I think we are currently missing his hold up play tbh.

Everytime we attack it’s the same old trick and within seconds we lose it and end up on the back foot. Might help Simons too by giving him time to think about his passing and movements because we haven’t lost the ball straight away after a few passes which might allow Simons more options to use his skill set on finding a better angle for a better pass, run or shot etc.

Yeah I don’t think Solanke changes much either. And by the time he returns it’ll be closer to the Jan window in which we better have a new LW by then, should we get that done then Solanke will just be on the bench backing Kolo up, not starting with him.

Speaking of LW, that again was so clear what we needed last night. Pretty much all of our play was going down the right to Kudus because the opposite flank is a black hole. We desperately need to ensure that a LW is signed within the first couple days of January, we should be working on it now in fact and have them ready to walk through the door on the 1st.

You are privileged to have witnessed the GOAT
of that type of kick. Romero quickly assessed
the situation and went for precision placement
    rather than sheer power.

Solanke and RKM can work I'm sure.
For all his limitations, the former is still a mobile, intelligent and hard working target man. The latter appears to have those qualities plus quicker feet and more potential as an outright goalscorer.
Playing the two, as long as we they are provided with a decent supply, could create havoc in opposition defences.

Richarlison must be off-loaded. An occasional Worldie, lost in a quagmire of mediocrity, play-acting and quivering lower lip petulance is not the qualities required at this level. We have Tel, Scarlett (and Lankshear) as backups all of whom would add more than the Pigeon.

We do need it done early in the window but we all know it doesn’t happen until the last week or even deadline day and it will probably be a plan b or panic buy.

New regime (supposedly) now, so we’ll see if they mean business or if it’s just same old, same old.

We miss Solanke's hold up play atm , No one else in the team seems able to do this which is a big reason for our lack of control in the midfield
