Never fills me with confidence when we look for a replacement and find them in our own academy, (or the best candidate happens to be an ex- Norwich player...), so a bit surprised we've given him the role on a permanent basis. Obviously wish him all the best. At least Knapper has seen how he works.
Ben Lee on the QPR game tactics: "In his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday, Philippe Clement discussed the video analysis work they do before games. He said it’s about “showing [the players] the spaces that we can find during the game [by] analysing [upcoming] opponents.” Speaking post-match, Clement then explained that his side “found the spaces that we were trying to find [and that we] trained on.” The game became "a perfect demonstration of the benefit of good coaching and tactical planning in supporting players to perform at their best. There’s a long way to go, but Philippe Clement is a seriously good coach." https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...-ben-lee-tactical-analysis-qpr-carrow-rd-win/
We need a seriously good coach at Nice. Performances have been so poor that a large number of so called fans attacked and assaulted some of the players earlier. Think I will give the next home game a miss!!!
Surely, living in France, you should support Rouen, it they have a team. Edit:- checked, FC Rouen is in their third tier and called the red devils.
Ipswich drew their replayed game with Blackburn with a 94th minute equaliser. Ipswich should have been down to 10men again but the referee somehow deemed a last man challenge to be a yellow card even though the Blackburn player was heading directly for goal. Blackburn should have also had a penalty. And the equaliser was started from an Ipswich goal kick which should have been a Blackburn corner. Blackburn can have every right to be agrieved, a draw a better result for us though if we are to catch them
