Too many simple errors from Spurs . Just 10 minutes in 45 did pose anything. Just second rate. Bergval keep it simple please.

Awful first half hour but we've grown into the game.

Bergvall playing extremely far forward - often level with RKM. This has allowed Brennan and Kudus to drop deeper into the space behind and stretch our own width to match the 5-man midfield Newcastle were dropping into whenever we had the ball.

But for this system to work, the FBs need to give much more on the overlap. Neither has. Udogie especially has been really poor, giving the ball away endlessly and contributing very little of note.

He's not looked right since his injury last season.

    Agreed.

Another player rushed back way too quickly.

Needed proper cover for him in the summer.

When things are not going for you just go back to basics, that means passing to your player and not just hoofing it. Although I am glad Vicario is clearing the ball out of his area

They never do which is why I'm slightly fearful for the return of the others and our over expectations.

I hate this leaving no one up it just invites more players into your box and Kudos can't help defensively and they will leave 2 back, personally I would leave Kudus and Johnson up they will leave 3 back if we do.

Guimaraes replaces Tonali, who cried a lot in the first half.

Burn elbows Kolo Muani in the head. No foul, Kolo Muani goes to the sideline...

Romero wafts a leg at thin air and they almost score. Danso off the line.

    Why is he captain again?

Johnson does well there, but he should get back down the left as soon as he passes it.
