West Ham legend Billy Bonds MBE has died aged 79. Bonds made a record 799 appearances for the Hammers and is the only player to captain them to two FA Cup victories, in 1975 and 1980. He spent 21 years as a player with the Hammers between 1967-1988 and also managed them from 1990 to 1994.
Former England and Hampshire cricketer Robin Smith has died aged 62. Gained 62 caps with England 1988-1996, scoring over 4200 runs and played for Hampshire until 2003, finishing with 26,000+ runs and 625+ appearances
