Birmingham v Watford. Watford travel into the heart of the midlands to face a recently promoted Birmingham. An outstanding comeback meant Javi's men won on the road for the first time in a great 2-3 comeback victory against Derby. The worrying thing is usually letting the first goal in. A lot of teams are within reach of the playoffs: As tight as a nun, some might say! Team news to follow: Enjoy the game!
A more open game might suit us. We do well on the break etc. Defensively we still are very vulnerable..and we keep giving the ball away.. still lots to do.
We coulda/shoulda/woulda won our last 2 home games with even a modicum of better finishing. 28 points = 4th. So we are not badly placed. If as I hope, our strength in depth becomes apparent in 2nd half of season (like the games really) we are in with a shout. COYH !
We do have a squad with great potential. Still shooting ourselves in the foot by giving the ball away and not finishing. I think a bit of a run will help us.....
Irankunda flown back to Australia for family reasons so not available for next couple of games. Ince in for Kayembe otherwise no other changes.
Won't be around for this one - my son arrives home from Spain tonight for a few days - haven't seen him for a few years.
