Another tight turnaround, another away trip, and another opportunity to put pressure on second spot. The defeat at Oxford on Friday night was incredibly frustrating. I could possibly copy and paste the negatives after a defeat this season - more rotation, sloppy goal conceded against the run of play, lots of possession but no cutting edge etc. Our second trip to Ewood Park this season will hopefully be much better than the previous one, en-route to a defeat and in appalling weather. Updated predictions league table below (and it’s looking tighter than the Championship table at the moment!): I’m going for a scrappy 1-1 draw tomorrow night.
I am glad you kicked this one off and not me Nuggets. It could be a super charged Town team scoring 1st and wadda u know, a stonking away win. In reality, I go for a dull damp squid, but a much needed away win, our winning goal from a most unlikely player. Tempers flare up North. 1 -2
I see there’s another yellow weather warning for the north west tomorrow, wouldn’t be ironic if we got one up and the heavens opened again?!
