We buy the bag of feed for the bird around silky lake, cannot feed bird in garden due to rats using back gardens as a shortcut

It's part of the British psyche to make polite conversation, about the weather :emoticon-0103-cool:

Rats can become a nasty problem due to bird feeding in gardens, as can the pigeons it attracts. Cost me £400 to get my solar panels pigeon proofed as they were nesting under and disturbing the cabling. First world problems and all that I know, but £400 FFS.

I stopped putting nuts out for the birds as a squirrel kept stealing them all, chewed a hole in my roofing felt and I had little piles of nuts on top of my loft insulation!

I still put seed and fat balls out. I've got regular feathered visitors that I love watching.

Walked the dog to Rhyope Beach before the heavens opened. 75 minutes against the wind to get home. And now it's eased off. Bugger.

    Madness again.

Came in soaked and freezing cold last night.

I've been working outside this morning and it's lovely and warm in the sunshine. I've also got washing drying on the line.
