    I really like Noel Meade's Blake in the Royal Bond (Fairyhouse 13.35). He was impressive when landing a maiden hurdle at Down Royal 4 weeks ago, quickening between the last two and absolutely pinging the last hurdle before drawing further clear on the run in.

    Whilst he may not have beaten overly much, I was impressed by the way he travelled through the race and his hurdling was particularly fluent. Of course Love Me Tender could be a world beater but I think that Blake offers good value at around 11/1 against the Mullins horse.

    Blake beaten by the smallest of margins Oddy. Great battle between the front two at the end.

    Romeo Coolio looking pretty good there in the Drinmore just now, very impressive.

    Yeah I thought Blake was going to win but just got outbattled the last 50 yards.

    Romeo Coolio is so cool. Best novice chaser I’ve seen in Ireland since Flemenstar
