He might have been referring to you? I don’t know. It’s harsh if he was. I think you’re ok. Anyways another win please.
We ruined Roly's day yesterday by going 3 up at half time. The poor bastard didn't know what to do with himself, I hope he didn't take himself off and start self harming.
Roly and GG should feel vindicated in some way by the fact Pope was removed from the 11 and Burn not paying left back. I'm pretty sure we'll see Tonali back in the side on Tuesday, but Miley and Joelinton deserve to start after Yesterday. Miley and Joelinton were excellent.. Miley only lost the ball twice, Joelinton only 4 times. Tonali was on about 10 mins and kept losing the ball. People really do sell themselves sometimes.
Yeah, I'm sure that change was all down to GG and Roly, when Howe's thinking about match tactics, the first thing he does is read GG and Roly's ****e on not606 Last 2 games have confirmed the blindingly obvious, ie with Tino and Hall back we're a different team. Only a few days until this one, so a few changes I assume - Schar for Burn, Tonali back in, Murphy and Gordon, maybe Ramsey for Joelinton. We usually mangle them at home, so let's do that again.
Who said it was? but let's not pretend they haven't had some fair points and bad ones just like anyone else. I mean, you said Hall was a mistake and now you're saying he's the difference.. We all get things right and wrong. Burn should have been moved out of left back years ago and never returned there and pope should have been dropped ages ago.. It was clear the passing from Ramsdale was a huge difference and yeah the full backs also.... It's also worth a mention that Everton were shocking.
Also worth mentioning that Burn is/was third choice at left back and would not have played at left back if either the first or second voices had been available. Also worth mentioning that a certain poster didn't believe EH would drop Burn from left back once either the first or second choice left backs were available.
When did I say Hall was a mistake? I've always liked him. It's not about getting things right or wrong, it's about watching the game and supporting the team, not predicting everything that will happen after a handful of games. Roly doesn't support the team, he just wallows in misery and doggedly sticks by his negative points no matter how wrong they get proved - Barnes is a total waste of money, Wissa is rubbish despite the fact he hasn't played, Howe out, blah blah....belittling the "milk cup" Howe won was a new low recently. GG is different in that he's up and down like a jack in the box and totally manic and reactionary, but has the same misguided defeatism the second anything may go slightly wrong. Just watch the games and let's be concerned with who said what and who got what right or wrong.
