What a game and what a result. Good to catch up with a few lads in the Museum Can't wait for the next one
I had to shoot off home after the match coz the missus was supposed to go to the empire ( only found out when I got home it had been cancelled ffs) I had a "disagreement" with a lad on the metro on the way home who thought Traore was to blame for both goals. I disagreed but will hold my hands up and didn't realise he left the ball for the 2nd goal. But had nowt to do with the first. I kept saying to the lads with me, we were still in it, even at 2 nil. All it was, was 2 sloppy mistakes. Full credit to the lads to keep on going. I honestly couldn't love them more
Well done to Granit and Noah…. confrontational match, but neither got a yellow! Hope it continues… we need them for the Mags!
Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I'm really happy because coming from 2-0 down and winning is a big achievement. It shows this team has strong character; they are never beaten and want to fight. Many teams would give up, but that wasn't the case for us today. "This league is really demanding. You make two mistakes and are punished. "With the ball, we are good, so just keep pushing. We are able to hit their defence, and it was important to be clinical in the box. "I think here we have a great energy in the stands. If we give a lot on the pitch, then they will react. We deserved to win in the end. "It's important to play game after game. We went to Fulham last week and we lost. We were dominated. We go again. "It's positive to start this week with three points. It's an exciting league with tough challenges but we want those challenges.
