Thought a straight red card for violent conduct means an automatic three match ban? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c30jp9q4jp6o Think again.
A possible merger between Sheffield Wednesday & Sheffield United? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cg4nz1067g6o That's going to be a hard sell, putting it very mildly.
Crowd trouble at the Villa game... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce910e3kg04o I didn't know the Swiss had hooligans. Seems to be on the rise in Europe, this kind of nonsense. UEFA will do nothing I expect, as usual.
Watching the Copa Libertadores on tele atm over here. This is the South American equivalent of the Champions League. The game is between Flamengo and Palmeiras being played in Peru. Half the population out here are members of Flamengo, so being a supporter of the underdog for 59 years I am not a fan of Flamengo! Flamengo are based in Rio, Palmeiras are based in Sao Paulo, they are still very well supported but Flamengo probably have 60% of the crowd. I'll probably go down to the boozer for the second half to see the game. 0-0 at present after 25 minutes.
I'm sure I saw it as being available to watch here, not for me though as only watch Hull and England on TV. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
ESPN probably have it on. You're not missing much, very tight and niggly, whoever gets the first goal probably wins it.
