That doesn't let Paratici and/or Lange off the hook for not having a backup plan in place, mind - and that's particularly surprising for Paratici as he usually had two, three or four options lined up before we committed to the one who bought in to what we were selling, so going all in on Gibbs-White with no safety net was oddly out of character

If our current form persists when Kulusevski and Solanke are back in the squad, then Frank is the problem

his inexperience shows now n again but he’s got what it takes to be a top player imo

 

The subs haven't really improved anything. Xavi is still a million miles off the pace, Bentancur has added nothing. Odobert possibly a step up on Richy, but nothing to write home about.
