Ref booked 10 and sent 1 off....did he not make any allowances for the weather conditions....fortunately our 2 lads on 4 yellows avoided to get a fifth.
Was he poor or just lost control? Looking forward to watching the full 90 back.

As daft as this sounds for me to say this, but that was a very important win today. We hadn't bagged 3 points in a game since the Chelsea match, couple of good draws then loss and you start thinking.."been a while since we last won", especially when there's international breaks aswell. We also seemed to be stuck on teen points, now we're in the 20s. It's been said before and yes there's games tomorrow, but if people had told any Sunderland fan that we would be in the European spots leading into December you'd have said "get out of my office". I think this game is one we'll look back on later in the season as a massive 3 points. Well done and HWTFL

Just home, well done to the lads, 2 nil down after 20 minutes I would say aginst the run of play.

Brilliant to come back and win from thay position, Traore put a hell of a shift in and deserved his goal.

    Haway the lads

He was an absolute disgrace, they got away with murder especially the first half. Time wasting on every goal kick, set piece or throw in yet he books our keeper for it late in the second.

Special mention for the ref who made some baffling decisions and through a combination of weird decisions and weakness lost the plot completely. Am I right that our player was pushed over and got booked for it ?

Have to say Bournemouth are a lovely team to watch, their forwards are all a threat.

Thought Mukelele struggled a bit today, bit Ballard and Alderete were cool, calm and composed.

The ref was curious, so inconsistent in his decisions.

Mundle looked good forward and defensively.

Even at 0-2 down we didn’t lose the faith. Bournemouth looked brilliant going forward but acted like arses at times.

very wet drive home but fire on, wine poured and England lasses on the TV (sick of watching the mags win)

What a game of football that was. 2 good teams, pouring down with rain, 2 goals down a penalty a disallowed goal 10 yellows and a red. A ref that was very poor and baffling at times. Bournemouth were good going forward playing some lovely stuff. We dug in were unlucky to be 2 down a slip a wayward pass with a fantastic finish for the 2nd goal. However the sheer grit and determination and a good level of skill of this team is just unbelievable. A few yrs ago that would of been a big home defeat but these lads just never give up. Fantastic 3 points but credit to both teams for keeping us entertained in biblical rain. Brilliant now where's the Whisky.

Just home and wow that was absolutely awesome. Still haven't calmed down was one of the craziest games I've had the privilege of being at. Honestly thought after 20 mins we had played well and if it had been 2-0 to us Bournemouth couldn't have complained. Obviously the players thought the same and stuck to their guns and came away with a fantastic 3 points. Absolutely buzzing and just keep falling more and more in love with this group. All the injury time shenanigans just added to the intensity and it was clear they had simply lost their heads and we kept ours.

Apart from the kick-off there was no point in the game when the referee was in control …

… I can’t wait to see how it scans on MOTD.

He quite clearly lost control and chaos ensued he didn't even know what way to point his arm in injury time. Was one of those where you could just see his head was gone his brain became scrambled. One of those rare occasions where both teams will say he was crap but ultimately it didn't hinder us getting the points so happy to laugh it off.

Home after a soaking walking to the train station but what a match!

Thought we gifted them 2 goals - We've never been good at short corners! But r battled back, I thought Enzo was absolutely brilliant today, Xhaka did what he had to at the end, Sadiki was food but thought he was quiet compared to previous games. I know he's on 4 bookings but are his batteries running a bit low?

Traore was threatening again and it was great to see Mundle back on the pitch although I thought it was telling that he got on before Adingra.

Thought the referee was shocking and fell for their play acting but the lads got their just desserts
