My son, who is 5, and I were listening on 5Live. As soon as Bournemouth’s second goal went in he immediately went “oh well, we’ll win 3-2”. What a lad!
I think he could do better than Leeds to be honest. All joking aside though, what a game! I feared the worst after the second goal and certainly not a game for those feint of heart. There will be many positive superlatives to describe our performance today and I’ll leave them to those who have a more extensive vocabulary than me.
I have no fear at all about our upcoming games. The lads show no fear so why should we. Liverpool are there to be got at at home.
For me, our best performance of the season… Bournemouth are a very good team and we gave them a 2 goal start… this team doesn’t know when to quit… unbelievable performance
Suppose we have to mention their second like, what can you do about that? Superb spot and execution. Brobbey is coming on massively he’s got such a part to play, he really is a monster physically and so different to Wilson. Nice little alternates we have there. Nobody deserves a goal more than Traore mind, the graft he puts in is absolutely insane.
I want to say I can't believe what I've just seen there...but after the last 6 months it feels standard. What a game. What a team. What a time to be a lads fan! Traore so, so good, Enzo amazing, Xhaka his usual ridiculous level. Trai came on and gave a 'how could you possibly drop me' performance and Brobbey looked so effective again. So good to see Mundle again too and he looked his usual direct and dangerous self. I also thought talbi looked good in fairness, if you ignore the glaring error. Happy, happy days!
Magnificent that. Coming back from 2 down against a very good side is superb. Xhaka was fantastic, I though Le Fee was top class as well. Soaked. Cold. Delighted!
We deserved that, I had no doubt we would win even when 2 down. They looked dangerous up front but overall we were the better team. Incredible how out heads never drop. Brilliant performance.
You can say that again mate. I've recently gone on tablets for trigeminal neuralgia which had drove me fookin mad for the last few years, and also put me on blood pressure and cholesterol tablets. My fookin heart was racing towards the end I thought the fooker was gonna burst through me chest and punch me in the face
One thing I need to say, which is a shame after the performance and the result. I was in a different seat today from my usual east stand one, my dad was there however and tends to leave a few minutes early as he's 73 and has knackered knees. He paused walking down the stairs and some dickhead sitting down pushed him in the back, presumably as he was in the way of his view. If that was you, and you read this forum you're a disgrace. Also do that when I'm there with my dad and I'll put you through the wall.
Great character to come back and it's the top flight. We have a team and a transfer window in a few weeks . Still keeping feet firmly on the ground , 5 more wins and a few draws and we'll be earning another £200M . Unbelievable !! . Lads couldn't afford to dive in under those conditions but kept good shape as has been a plus all year. Brobbey again showing his worth ,wonder if he gets a start ? Traore another bonus , looking much sharper. Mundle didn't look out of place either. The rain isn't stopping the pub visit tonight . Haway !! https://www.skysports.com/football/...and-3-2-bournemouth-premier-league-highlights
Great win. We were unlucky. First goal Mukiele slipped, second the pass ran slow in the water, Talbi should have scored then we’re two down. But we go til the end. I have to say I like Brobbey and I like Traore and I thought they were back ups. Brobbey is a force and Traore just walks past premier league defenders. Enzo also showed some class today.
